	■2015.4.1	AWCC has changed name to Advanced Wireless & Communication Research Center.
	■2015.3.6	A poster presentation about the research of SIP(Cross-ministerial Strategic Innovation Promotion Program) supported by MIC(Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications) of Japan has been made at the open lecture hosted by MIC named "Lecture & Exhibition:ICT for the Next Generation ITS" .
	■2014.1.15	The director of AWCC Yamao made a invited talk which is titled as "Development Trend in ITS Wireless Communication Technology for Safety Driving Support" on Reliable Communication and Control(RCC)community of IEICE.
	■2015.1.1	Associate Professer Takeo Fujii has been promoted to a Professer.
	■2014.12.12	A result presentation & exhibition for Network Establishment Utilizing Vehicle-to-Vehicle Communications which is supported from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) of Japan has been made at PACIFICO YOKOHAMA.
	■2014.12.11	Mr. Yuelin Ma who is currently doctor student of AWCC Yamao Lab has been awarded "IEEE MTT-S Japan Young Engineer Award".
	■2014.12.1	Assistant Professer Koji Ishibashi has been promoted to an Associate Professer.
	■2014.11.19	The director of AWCC Yamao made a keynote speech about the research of ITS(Intelligent Transport System) at the International conference ACOMP2014 held in Vietnam.
	■2014.9.24	Mr. Singo Yoshida who is currently gradutate student of AWCC Honjo Lab has been awarded student awawd from Electronics Societyof IEICE.
	■2014.9.21	Mr. Shunta Sakai who is currently graduate student of AWCC Fujii Lab has been awarded "Best Paper Award" at IEEE IC-NIDC international conference.
	■2014.7.3	Mrs. Waya Fadini (graduate student of AWCC) and Prof. Eiji Oki havs been awarded "HPSR Best Paper Award Finalist, First Runner-Up" at International Conference on High Performance Switching and Routing (HPSR 2014), which was held in Vancouver from 2014.07.01 to 2014.07.04
	■2014.6.19	The director of AWCC Yamao made a presentation about the RoF network technology of 5 Generation Basestation on the Japan-China workshop on the Next Generation Mobile Communication Technology and Application held in Okinawa.
	■2014.6.5	The member of AWCC had a discussion about the future AWCC research strategy at the AWCC research meeting.
	■2014.6.4	The research activities of AWCC and each Lab were open to the public at OpenLab Day the Industrial and Governmental relations Day.
	■2014.5.2	Mr. Akinari Ida from AWCC Fujii Lab won a research encouragement award of Technical Committee on Smart Radio,IEICE.
	■2014.4.8	Mrs. Mai Ota who received doctor's degree at AWCC Fujii Lab, currently an assistant professor at Fukuoka University, has been awarded "Young Researcher's award" from IEICE.
	■2014.3.2	The reserch of AWCC was introduced by Science which is titled as "The University of Electro-Communications : Leading Research in Optics, Photonics, Wireless Communications, and Fuel Cells".
	■2014.3.2	Mr. Ma Yuelin who is currently doctoral student of AWCC Yamao Lab has been awarded "University of Electro-Communications Student Award" of 2014.
